Proxy Unblocker

Hello friends!
Lets see how to setup proxy settings at your school computer. This will help you to unblock myspace, bebo, facebook and other sites usually blocked at schools.
We gonna use native windows instruments only to change system default proxy settings. To do so you got to have right to alter system registry.
First open the notepad and paste these lines there:

reg add “HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings /V ProxyEnable /T REG_DWORD /F /D 1″
reg add “HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings /V ProxyServer /T REG_SZ /F /D 1.1.1.1:2222″

Attention: you have to change 1.1.1.1:2222 for address and port of working ip proxy server. You can easily find such IP proxies on the google. Just search for ‘IP proxy list’.
Then save it with the ‘bat’ file extension, for example ‘unblock.bat’.
Finally run the file to apply your new school proxy settings.

To return things as they were, create second bat file:

reg add “HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings /V ProxyEnable /T REG_DWORD /F /D 0″
reg add “HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings /V ProxyServer /T REG_SZ /F /D”

It’s really important to get back old settings cause it reduces risk to get caught by your network admin using proxy. And do not forget to clean your browser’s history and cookies.
